But the applicant was based in Texas. Still, I reached out. People move. Life changes. Maybe this was a sign she was considering relocation.
Her response?
“I live in Texas. I don’t read job descriptions. I hired someone to apply to jobs for me. I don’t expect them to read everything—just keep applying. If it works out, great. If not, your loss, not mine. Thanks. Click.”
I’ll be honest: it stung.
